1974 2002 tii / Owner: Edward Riordan This 1974 2002 is truly a work of art. The car is equipped with 1969 vintage Euro bumpers and factory BMW turbo flares. All of the domestic ( US specification) bumper and lighting modifications have been altered to reflect a 100% European car. The interior of the car was fitted with competition racing seats and roll bar. This BMW's suspension has been modified to include HR springs, Bilstein shocks, larger sway bars, delrin bushings and a quick ratio steering box. The original wheels were replaced with 15 inch wheels wearing 50 series rubber. Under the tail of the car a 3.64 limited slip differential puts the power to the pavement This 2002 certainly gets out of the garage on a regular basis. This car has traveled to many BMW Car club Oktoberfest events, where it placed in the Concours events. The car was modified to run on a race track and that it has, including such locations as Lime Rock, Watkin's Glen, Mid-Ohio and Michigan International Speedway are just a few of the places this car has raced. |
